GALApalooza 2011

On the eve of Lolapalooza 2011, a 3 day music festival in Grant Park, Chicago, Galapalooza took place. Hosted by the Parkways Foundation, an elite group of individuals were invited to support and donate for the cleaning and restoring of the aftermath from Lolapalooza. At the Playstation stage, food trucks surrounded the chic lounges. Our favorite food truck was 5411empanadas that served delicious empanadas. To drink with this delicious Mexican traditional pastry stuffed with meat or parmesan cheese and caramelized onions, was a Frenchie. The Frenchie, a mixed drink, was a combination between cranberry juice and grapefruit juice with a splash of tonic water and Grey Goose vodka with a hint of time. My friend Grace and I attended this event and danced the night away to Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. Grace, on the left in the picture above, wore cream colored shorts trimmed with a bright orange to give a subtle touch of color and a sheer black short sleeve shirt. I, shown on the right, wore this SCOOP Tie Dye Mini Dress in Blue with a braided brown belt to accentuate my waist with these STUART WEITZMAN Alex Nude Wedge. This night to remember was spectacular and we were so happy to have the opportunity to attend! Go Green!
XOXO,
V
