Get Your Dorm Looking Dreamy

Scared that when you walk into your dorm for the first time you're going to be faced with piercing white walls that look similar to a hospital room? Determining where to start is the key in tackling your bland empty slate. First pick a color scheme that you'd like to continue throughout your decor. Usually you can find inspiration from a tapestry or cool bedding. We found ours in this Peacock Medallion Tapestry from Urban Outfitters. You can hang this up horizontally or vertically depending on the amount of space in your room. There are several shades of blue to choose from for your duvet.  For the duvet cover choose one that is plain and subtle in color yet still manages to pull out tones from the core of the tapestry such as a cream or grey so that your side of the room isn't overwhelming to the eye. Throw some fun accent pillows on the bed and post this decal behind your bed to give you that cosy home feeling of a headboard. For all the free space above your faux headboard put your pictures in these Vintage Picture Frame Decals. Along with the frame decals hang up this Dreamcatcher to help your beauty sleep. Throw up this Magnet Board for notes and due dates. For any extra space hang up this Poppy Corkboard to stay organized. Nails are no longer an issue when removing wall decor. Remember you need functionality in your storage space with style. Elevate your bed with poles and keep drawers from the container store underneath your bed! For extra storage, put these Bloom 3-Drawer Cart so you can pull them out when in need to search for clothes. Lay this Navy Classic Wool Border Rug on the floor. Get pumped to have the best decorated dorm!
XOXO,
